Today at approximately 3:45 PM, James Erickson’s mother dropped him off at 24-hour fitness. Erickson advised he was going to walk to his father’s home on Park Avenue after he worked out. It was later learned that after arriving at the gym, Erickson left with a friend and walked to Wendy’s fast-food. on East Washington Street. At approximately 6:00 PM, as they were walking near Walnut Park, Erickson told his friend that he was going to walk to his father home. Erickson has not been seen since. Both of Erickson’s parents are unaware of his whereabouts. Erickson did not make any concerning statements prior to being reported missing and has not been reported missing previously.  James Erickson, is 16 years old, 6'2", 250 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes.  He was last seen wearing an orange Carhartt beanie, black jacket, black jeans, black Air Force1s, and a black backpack with an American flag design.   If you have seen Erickson or know of his wherabouts, please contact the Petaluma Police Department at 707-778-4326.
