Arizona Resident Arrested for Possession of Narcotics During a Traffic Stop in Needles
DATE/TIME: Saturday, November 12, 2022, at approximately 2:07 a.m.
INCIDENT: H&S 11351- Possession of Narcotics for Sales
LOCATION: North K Street and Smokestack Avenue, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Julian Wimbs, 24-year-old Resident of Bullhead City, AZ
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Saturday, November 12, 2022, at approximately 2:07 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department conducted a traffic stop near North K Street and Smokestack Avenue, for vehicle code violations.
During the traffic stop, deputies contacted Julian Wimbs. During the investigation, deputies located a large amount of suspected fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine and a large sum of money.
Julian Wimbs was consequently arrested for H&S 11351- Possession of Narcotics for Sales and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Wimbs remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
