TREE PRUNING ON RIVER ROAD TO BEGIN TUESDAY, NOV 15TH 
Dear Fair Haven Residents,
On or about Tuesday, November 15, 2022, under the supervision of the Monmouth County Shade Tree Commission, County tree crews and Fair Haven DPW personnel will be judiciously pruning trees on River Road.
The scope of the work will include elevating trees along the street to comply with New Jersey Department of Transportation mandated standards for street side clearance (13' 6'') and sidewalk clearance (8' 6'') to allow for safe passage of vehicles and pedestrians. In addition, trees in close proximity to streetlights will be pruned to allow for well lit sidewalks, which will allow safe pedestrian passage after dark.
Weather permitting, the work is expected to be completed by Friday, November 18, 2022.
