Victim of early morning Northridge Plaza shooting identified 
The victim of the early morning shooting on Hilton Head Island has been identified as 19-year-old Breiner Daniel Puerta Gonzalez.
Case History
At approximately 1:30 a.m. this morning, November 15, 2022, Sheriff’s deputies were called to Northridge Plaza, 435 William Hilton Parkway, Hilton Head Island for a man down call.
When they arrived, they found a young man with apparent gunshot wounds, deceased in the parking lot.
Investigators collected evidence from the scene and are canvassing nearby businesses for video surveillance.
The victim appeared to have been riding his bicycle in the area just prior to being shot.
Investigators determined that the shooting occurred around midnight.
