UPDATE - 2:55pm
At approximately 11:17am today, the Santa Clara Police Department responded to a commercial business in the 2400 block of Kifer Road on a report of a suspicious package. Upon arrival, the package in question caused enough concern that we requested the assistance of the Santa Clara County Sherriff’s Office Bomb Squad. The bomb squad has arrived on scene and is evaluating the suspicious package.
In an abundance of caution, the business was evacuated and the roadway was closed.
