MSPD and the MS Chaplain's Corp thank everyone who participated in the "Fill the Truck Food Event" this year. 
The Maple Shade Police Department and the Maple Shade Police Chaplain Corp would like to congratulate the following organizations for collecting the most items in the Third Annual "Fill the Truck Food Event":
1st place $1,400: OLPH CCD - 2,224 items collected.
2nd place $1,000: MS Girls Softball - 500 items collected.
3rd place $500: MS Cheerleading - 227 items collected.
4th place: $300: MS Arts Council - 200 items collected.
Overall a total of 3,291 items were collected for the Maple Shade Food Bank.
We would also like to thank those organizations that competed but did not win a prize as well as the businesses and residents of town who dropped off items at the Maple Shade Custard Stand last night. We especially thank the Maple Shade Business Association for donating $150 in gift cards.
Everybody that donated made this year a great success and have helped the Maple Shade Food Bank continue to address the issue of food insecurity in our town.
