Rosemead Launches New Easy-to-Use Dog Licensing Program

The City of Rosemead is excited to announce its partnership with DocuPet to provide a modernized and simplified approach to dog licensing. Through pet licensing and their complimentary HomeSafe™ 24/7 lost pet service, DocuPet offers residents an effective pet identification and reunification program that keeps pets out of shelters and return home safely. The launch of this new licensing platform will help to reduce the number of animals in our local animal shelters and open space and vital resources for pets that truly need our care.

Residents will have the option to select a standard license tag at no additional charge or may upgrade to one of DocuPet’s designer tag styles and design their own tag with an easy-to-use customizable tool. Now your dog’s license tag can match their personality and style! Best of all, each identification tag is linked to an online profile with a unique code that can be referenced to create a Lost Pet Report in seconds! Pet owners will have access to features that can help them reunite with their furry friends if they were to go missing.

All dogs in the City of Rosemead are required to be licensed annually. Pet owners can learn more and register for pet licenses online by visiting rosemead.docupet.com.  Licensing by mail, over the phone, and in person is also available.
