Hydrant flushing will take place tomorrow, Friday, November 18, in the area of Monroe St, Hemlock St and Evergreen St, starting at approximately 9:00am and will go until about 2:00pm.  Residents may temporarily have no or low water pressure. Residents may experience some discoloration in their water, which is a result of the settling of naturally found minerals in water.  The remedy is to let the water run for a short time to clear up.  The Borough strongly advises residents NOT to do laundry during this timeframe.  The Borough will not be held liable for clothes that are damaged due to the flushing program.  If the discoloration persists, please call 201-652-5300 ext. 240 during regular business hours, 8:30am – 4:00pm.
