Press Release: November 12, 2022 Incident- Robbery Attempt Leads to Suspect Being Charged with Attempted Murder

On November 12, 2022, at approximately 1:18 p.m., Fremont Police Department received several 911 calls reporting a subject had been shot near School Street and Bodily Avenue. Additionally, witnesses reported seeing the suspect flee in a vehicle south on Mission Boulevard. Fremont PD Officers responded to the scene of the shooting and provided emergency medical aid to the victim. Fremont Fire Department also responded to render emergency medical aid.

Additional Fremont PD officers responded to the area to search for the suspect’s vehicle. Shortly after that, officers located the suspect's vehicle, which fled, and a pursuit was initiated.
