INCIDENT: PC 211SA: STRONG ARM ROBBERY
LOCATION: Circle K, 11724 Air Expressway, Adelanto
SUSPECT: William Spankowski, 62 years-old, resident of Adelanto
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 10:01 a.m., deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the report of a robbery at Circle K, 11724 Air Expressway in Adelanto.
According to witnesses, William Spankowski entered the Circle K and walked back to the coolers. Spankowski took a three pack of Michelada’s and started to walk out without paying for them. When an employee tried to stop Spankowski, he hit the employee in the stomach, shoving him out of the way, and left with the merchandise.
Deputy M. Lewis located Spankowski across the street from the location. He was arrested without incident and booked at High Desert Detention Center. He is currently being held on $100,000.00 bail.
