1. Robbery (1544) 5000 Block of Virtue Arc Drive, Lakeview District
The female victim, 88, was walking in the listed area when she was attacked by the suspect. The victim fought back, but the suspect stole her purse and fled the area on foot. SUSPECT: Hispanic or white male in his teens or early 20s.
2. Weapon Arrest (1649) Turnpike Road and Downing Avenue, Seaport District
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the listed area. Officers observed a loaded firearm during the stop and arrested the occupants. ARRESTED: Javinte Cox, 18, Alex Santana, 24, and a 16-year-old male, all for weapon charges.
3. Weapon Arrest (0058) 1000 Block of East Lafayette Street, Park District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a burglary and contacted the suspect. The suspect was found to be in possession of ammunition and a short-barreled shotgun. ARRESTED: Jason McKay, 30, for weapon charges.
4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0515) 200 Block of West Worth Street, Seaport District
The female victim, 31, was in a verbal argument with the suspect. During the argument, the suspect threw an object at the victim. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries. The responding officers took the suspect into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Nicholas Smith, 25, for assault with a deadly weapon.
