Valve repair update 

Veolia has completed repairs to a leaking valve at 15th Street and Willow Avenue. All roadways and lanes have been reopened. 

Take the Hudson Place Redesign Survey! 

The City of Hoboken today launched an online survey to gather feedback from community stakeholders on the redesign of Hudson Place, an important street that runs from Hudson Street to Warrington Plaza that serves as a central gateway to Hoboken’s downtown, the waterfront, the Hoboken Ferry Terminal, and the Hoboken Train Station.

The project team and Hudson Place Redesign Task Force will use the feedback to create a final concept design and engineered design which will be presented to the public at a courtesy meeting of the Hoboken Planning Board.

Run in the annual Turkey Trot

There is still time to register for the annual Hoboken Turkey Trot! The 5k race raises funds for local charities. It will take place on Saturday, Nov. 19, at Pier A Park. The fun run begins at 9 a.m. The 5k begins at 10 a.m.

Register for the Hoboken Community Solar Program

Low-to-moderate income residents can still register for the City's new community solar program! The City launched the new solar energy assistance program to reduce low-to-moderate income residents’ electricity costs by an estimated 25 percent. The program allows residents who cannot install solar panels on their own roofs to achieve the savings and environmental benefits of solar energy from an offsite solar project.

REMINDER: microtransit survey closes Monday, Nov. 21.

The City launched an online public survey to gather feedback about residents’ Hop service experiences and future potential microtransit expectations.

To take the survey, go to www.hobokennj.gov/microtransit-survey. Paper copies of the survey in both English and Spanish will be available for pickup from the Office of Constituent Services at 94 Washington St. The survey will close on Monday, Nov. 21, at 6 p.m.

Make an appointment for the COVID-19 updated booster clinic

The City and Medicine Man Pharmacy & Compounding will host a clinic on Tuesday, Nov. 22, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 605 Jackson St. The clinic will offer both updated COVID-19 boosters and seasonal flu vaccines to those eligible.

Seasonal Citi Bike valet service ends Wednesday, Nov. 23

Lyft, operator of Citi Bike, will end the valet service at the Hoboken Terminal – River Street station on River Street between Hudson Place and Newark Street, on Wednesday, Nov. 23, at the end of the evening rush hour for the winter season. Dock space and bicycle availability will continue on a first-come, first-served basis. Users should check the Citi Bike app for dock space and bicycle availability.  

Monkeypox clinic scheduled for Dec. 12 

The City of Hoboken and the Hudson Regional Health Commission will host monkeypox vaccine clinic on Monday, Dec. 12, from 4 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. at 605 Jackson St.
