Saturday funeral service will impact downtown parking, traffic 
A "full fireman's funeral" service will be held tomorrow (Saturday, Nov. 19) for a lifetime member and president of the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company. Please anticipate that many firetrucks from around Sussex County and the state will be parked along Rehoboth Avenue, incuding in one of the travel lanes. Parking along the median on Rehoboth Avenue will be restricted.
The funeral processional will be along Rehoboth Avenue, Columbia, and Surf, to the cemetery on Henlopen Avenue. No road closures are anticipated, though traffic may be briefly delayed at anytime between 10 am and 2 pm. In addition, the fire siren will sound several times around noon in a "last call" tribute.
