Wilmington Police have arrested a wanted man on drug charges.

On November 16 at approximately 1:33 p.m., members of the Street Crimes Unit conducted a vehicle stop in the 700 block of Taylor Street.  Police made contact with 29-year-old Malik Brown-Porter, who was found to have an outstanding warrant.  Police took Brown-Porter into custody without incident and police recovered 8 Oxycodone pills, 8.2 grams of cocaine, and 162 bags of heroin.

Brown-Porter was charged with the following offenses in addition to his outstanding warrant and a traffic violation:

• Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 1 Quantity – 2 counts
• Breach of Release
• Possession of a Controlled Substance
