INCIDENT: Possession of Controlled Substances for Sales, Possession of Stolen Property, Grand Theft
LOCATION: 1000 Block E Fairway Blvd, Big Bear City
SUSPECT(S): Michael Parslow, 41-year-old resident of Big Bear City
Javier Morales, 32-year-old resident of Big Bear City
VICTIM(S): Confidential, People of the State of California
SUMMARY: On November 18, 2022, at about 9:48 p.m., Big Bear deputies assigned to the Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) served a search warrant in the 1000 block of E Fairway Blvd, Big Bear City.
Michael Parslow, a convicted felon, was found to be in possession of approximately 212 grams of suspected methamphetamine packaged in several small bags, a digital scale, multiple denominations of cash, drug paraphernalia, and stolen property.
Javier Morales, also a convicted felon, was contacted at the location and was a suspect in a prior theft case. Parslow was found to be in possession of some of the items stolen by Morales.
Parslow and Morales were booked into custody at the Big Bear Jail. Parslow was booked for possession of controlled substances for sales, possession of stolen property. Parslow posted bail and has an arraignment hearing set for January 4, 2023, in San Bernardino County Superior Court. Morales was booked for grand theft and is being held in lieu of $25,000.00 bail. He has an arraignment hearing set for January 4, 2023, in San Bernardino County Superior Court.
