STABBING SUSPECT ARRESTED
On Saturday night, November 19, 2022, at approximately 11:44 pm. The Simi Valley Police Department responded to an assault with a deadly weapon at the 2100 block of Morley St.
There was a family gathering at a residence when several of the family members got into an argument with each other. One of the family members produced a knife during the confrontation and stabbed the victim. The victim was transported to a local medical facility and treated for his non-life threatening injuries. SVPD officers arrived on scene and detained the suspect, who was identified as 24 year-old, City of Simi Valley resident Manuel Hernandez. Mr. Hernandez was arrested for an assault with a deadly weapon and subsequently booked into the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Pre-Trial Detention Facility for 245 PC.
