1. Battery on an Officer (1517) 1200 Block of East Hammer Lane, Valley Oak District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a disturbance. Officers contacted the suspect, and while an officer was walking the suspect to the patrol car, she kicked the officer. The officer was not injured, and the suspect was arrested. ARRESTED: Kedonta Southern, 26, for battery on an officer, vandalism, and warrants.
2. Weapons Arrest (0032) California Street and Miner Street, Civic District
Officers responded to a report of a suspect brandishing a firearm. Officers contacted the suspect and took him into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Vicente Cervantes, 19, for weapon charges and a warrant.
