* WHAT...Freezing rain occurring. Total ice accumulations of a light glaze.
* WHERE...Elevations lower than 1000 ft.
* WHEN...Through 9 AM Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Very slippery sidewalks, roads, and bridges are likely.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Freezing rain and rain has developed across the Anchorage Bowl. With temperatures hovering right at 32 F, the rain has been very slow to freeze onto surfaces, particularly area roadways with heavy traffic. However, overnight lows between 30 and 32 degrees may allow the main roadways, particularly overpasses, to freeze. Rain on ice is likely to develop through neighborhoods, which can be incredibly slick. Additional freezing rain is possible between 3am and 6am Monday.
