Convicted Felon Arrested for Possessing Ammunition
DATE/TIME: Friday, November 18, 2022, at approximately 12:40 p.m.
INCIDENT: PC 30305(A)(1)- Felon in Possession of Unlawful Ammunition
LOCATION: Interstate 40 Onramp and West Needles Highway, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Angel Suarez Roman, 37-Years Old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Friday, November 18, 2022, at approximately 12:40 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department came in contact with Angel Suarez Roman, a convicted felon, during a traffic enforcement stop near the intersection of the Interstate 40 onramp and West Needles Highway, for vehicle code violations.
During the traffic stop investigation, Suarez Roman was found to be in violation of PC 30305(A)(1)- Felon in Possession of Unlawful Ammunition. Suarez Roman was consequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Suarez Roman remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $35,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
