City of Watervliet Holiday Tree Lighting, TONIGHT! 5pm - 6:30pm 
The City of Watervliet will host its annual holiday tree lighting event TONIGHT, Saturday, November 26th from 5:00 to 6:30pm at Veteran's Memorial Park (corner of 16th St and 2nd Ave).
Come join in the fun! There will be horse drawn wagons rides, refreshments, music, the 2022 Watervliet tree ornament distribution (while supplies last), and a get a picture taken with Santa himself! All free!
After the event, walk over to the Watervliet Historical Society at 1501 1st Ave to view their holiday display.
Take note: as a result of this event, the following road closures will be in effect:
- 2nd Avenue from 18th Street to 15th Street (both directions)
- 16th Street from the McDonald's entrance to 4th Avenue (both directions).
