Felony OWI 4th Offense
On Thursday, November 24, 2022 at 6:41 pm, Middleton Police officers were dispatched to the 7500 block of Century Avenue for a report of an intoxicated female. Officers identified her as Kimberly Mattioli, 59 years old, of Middleton. Based on evidence obtained at the scene, officers determined Mattioli had been driving just prior to their contact with her. Mattioli had a strong odor of intoxicants coming from her person.
Mattioli refused field sobriety testing and was subsequently arrested for 4th offense operating while under the influence (OWI). Mattioli submitted to a chemical test of her breath, which indicated her blood-alcohol level was .19. The legal limit in Wisconsin is .08.
Mattioli was transported to the Dane County Jail and booked on the tentative 4th OWI charge.
