Two Suspects Arrested After Deputy Finds them in a Stolen U-Haul Truck

WARRANTS
LOCATION: Phelan Road/ Sheep Creek Road, Phelan
SUSPECT: Jehneene Perez, 44-years-old, Resident of Victorville
Tyler Gustafson, 41-years-old, Resident of Pinon Hills
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 3:24am, Deputy J. VanBrimmer saw a U-HAUL truck with Arizona license plates leaving a car wash near Phelan Road and Sheep Creek Road in Phelan. A records check of the vehicle confirmed it had been reported stolen by the U-HAUL corporation on November 22, 2022.
Deputy VanBrimmer stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver, Jehneene Perez, and passenger, Tyler Gustafson. After conducting a thorough investigation, Perez and Gustafson were arrested for possession of stolen property and outstanding warrants.
Jehneene Perez and Tyler Gustafson were booked at High Desert Detention Center. They are being held in lieu of $60,000 bail each.
