Man and Woman Arrested When Deputies Locate Them in a Stolen Vehicle
DATE/TIME: Sunday, November 27, 2022, at approximately 8:22 a.m.
INCIDENT: PC 496(A) - Receiving Known Stolen Property
LOCATION: North K Street and Smokestack Drive, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Jacob Johnson, 37-Years Old, Resident of Snohomish, WA
Brandy Wallace, 32-Years Old, Resident of Bullhead City, AZ
SUMMARY: On Sunday, November 27, 2022, at approximately 8:22 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a call for service near North K Street and Smokestack Drive for a report of a stolen vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle and conducted a felony traffic stop. After several verbal commands the female suspect, Brandy Wallace, exited the vehicle and was taken into custody.
Several more commands were initiated and the driver still refused to comply with demands. Deputies resorted to deploying several rounds of bean bags into the back windshield when the suspect driver, Jacob Johnson, finally exited the vehicle. Johnson was taken into custody without further incident.
Wallace was consequently arrested for PC496(A)- Receiving Known Stolen Property and was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Wallace remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $25,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
