1. Robbery (1800) East Sonora Street and South California Street, Seaport District
The adult victim was in the above area when he was approached by the suspects who demanded the victim’s property. When the victim refused, the suspects began punching the victim. The suspects took the victim’s property and fled on foot. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECTS: Two or three Hispanic males.
 
2. Resisting Arrest (1815) Pacific Avenue and West Adams Street, Civic District
Officers were dispatched to the area on the report of a fight in progress in which one party was armed with a gun. The suspect was located in the area of the call location where he was contacted by officers. The suspect refused the officers’ commands and was forced to the ground where he continued to resist. A K9 was deployed and the suspect was taken into custody. ARRESTED: Colton Hogan, 30, for resisting arrest.
 
3. Weapons Arrest (2138) Longview Avenue and Fillmore Avenue, Lakeview District
Officers conducted an enforcement stop for traffic violations. A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Andrew Jackson, 18, for weapons charges.
 
4. Negligent Discharge of a Firearm (2343) Wilson Way and Bradford Street, Civic District
Officers responded to the report of a person shot in the above area. Through their investigation, officers determined the victim shot himself. The victim self-transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made.
 
5. Pursuit Arrest (0018) March Lane and Holiday Drive, Valley Oak District
Officers initiated an enforcement stop for traffic violations. The driver failed to yield leading officers on a short pursuit. Officers terminated the pursuit for safety reasons. Officers located the vehicle after it was involved in a collision and took the driver into custody. The driver was treated at an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. ARRESTED: Michael Vallesteros, 23, for DUI and pursuit charges.
