1. Battery on an Officer (2054) 1600 Block of South Turnpike Road, Seaport District
Officers responded to the area on the report of a trespassing. The suspect was uncooperative with officers, and control holds were used to take her into custody. While processing the suspect at the police department, the suspect became combative and kicked an officer. A brief struggle ensued before the suspect was again restrained. ARRESTED: Jealaya Phea, 24, for resisting arrest and battery on an officer.
 
2. Carjacking Arrest (2321) 1300 Block of El Monte St, Lakeview District
The female victim, 21, and male victim, 22, were seated in their vehicle near the call location when they were approached by three suspects, all of whom were armed with handguns. The suspects forced the victims out of the vehicle, and one suspect fled in the victim's vehicle while the other suspects fled in a second vehicle. Responding officers attempted to stop the victim's vehicle but the vehicle failed to yield, leading officers on a short pursuit that was terminated for safety reasons. Officers located the victim's vehicle as the suspect was walking away and were able to take the suspect into custody after a short foot pursuit. ARRESTED: Male juvenile for weapons charges, carjacking, resisting arrest, and traffic charges.
 
3. Robbery (0040) 1000 Block of West Charter Way, Seaport District
The female victim, 21, was near the call location with the two suspects when an argument ensued over the victim’s property. The suspects assaulted the victim before stealing her property. SUSPECTS: Black male adult and black female adult.
 
4. Weapon Arrest (0518) Interstate 5 and Fremont Street, Civic Center
Officers conducted an enforcement stop for traffic violations. A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Andres Depalm, 26, for weapons charges.
