On 11/10/2022, at approximately 3:00 PM, a male juvenile rode his bicycle across Maricopa Highway and Ojai Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle. After the collision, the driver of the vehicle stopped momentarily but did not render aid to the victim. The driver of the vehicle then drove northbound on Maricopa Highway and struck the victim a second time.
 
The vehicle was described as a dark colored sedan, possibly a Ford. The driver was a Caucasian male with shoulder length blonde hair.
 
Anyone with information pertaining to this incident are urged to contact The Ojai Police Station at (805) 646-1414, Crime Stoppers, or the below listed detective. The reporting party may remain anonymous. 
 
Ventura County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 reward for information, which leads to the arrest and criminal complaint against the person(s) responsible for this crime.  The caller may remain anonymous.  The call is not recorded.  Call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
