INCIDENT: Joint Commercial Enforcement Operation
LOCATION: Carbon Canyon Road, Chino Hills
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, November 29, 2022, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., deputies from the Chino Hills Police/Sheriff’s Station conducted a joint Commercial Enforcement Operation with support from the California Highway Patrol, Chino Police Department, and Ontario Police Department. The operation was focused on commercial vehicle enforcement throughout Carbon Canyon Road. Additionally, traffic stops for moving violations throughout Carbon Canyon Road were conducted to reduce speeds and unsafe driving habits. The Commercial Enforcement Operation helps to ensure a safe, shared roadway, for commuters and commercial drivers traversing through Carbon Canyon Road, and the city of Chino Hills.
The Chino Hills Police/Sheriff’s Station remains focused on ensuring the roadways are safe for all persons who wish to visit the city of Chino Hills and surrounding cities.
