UPDATE: The scene of a residential gas leak in the 500 block of Edgewood Drive has been cleared.

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
There is currently a residential gas leak that was located in the 500 Block of Edgewood Dr. We are asking anyone in the 500 Block of Edgewood to evacuate the area until we cancel the Nixle. We will cancel the Nixle once the situation is resolved. There is no immediate danger to the general public at this time. Any questions can be forwarded to the fire department.
