Winter Weather Advisory until 08:00AM Friday

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches in valleys and 4 to 8 inches in the mountains. Lower valleys may see a rain/snow mix on Thursday before changing to all snow by Thursday evening. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph will cause patchy blowing snow, especially in the higher elevations.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Nevada.

* WHEN...From 1 PM Thursday to 7 AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
