Cedar Lane between Windsor Road and Elm Avenue is closed until further notice. Late yesterday evening an underground vault fire on Cedar Lane caused a power outage in the area, unrelated to the fire at the PSE&G sub-station yesterday afternoon.

PSE&G anticipates possibly opening the west bound lane of travel within the next 2 hours. However, please plan an alternate route as travel in this area will be very difficult.

Power remains out on Cedar in the work area, including all businesses, and residents in the general vecinity of Cedar Lane will experience sporadic outages while PSE&G continues work to repair underground electric lines.

Please dial 9-1-1 for all police, fire and medical emergencies and remember to check on your neighbors, our seniors, and those with special needs in the areas without power.
