Ontario Police arrest armed robbery suspect and recover victim's belongings.
On November 11, 2022, at 3:26 p.m., three suspects in ski masks followed the victim as he walked to his car in the area of Fourth Street and Milliken Avenue. The suspects robbed the victim at gun point and fled the scene.
Through dedicated teamwork, investigating officers, detectives, and members of the Multi-Enforcement Team were able to identify one of the suspects.
On November 30, 2022, Oscar Alcarez, a 20 year-old from Riverside County, was taken into custody without incident. A search warrant at his residence led investigators to recover the victim's stolen property and a replica hand gun.the
Alcarez was booked at West Valley Detention Center for PC 211: Robbery.
Investigators are still working to identify the other two suspects.
