Vehicle Pursuit Ends with the Arrest of a Stolen Vehicle Suspect

SUSPECT(S): Cristobal Marroquin, 32-year-old Male Resident of Los Angeles
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On December 3, 2022, at approximately 11:24 a.m., deputies received notification of a stolen 2006 Chevrolet Silverado. Deputies located the vehicle parked in the Wells Fargo parking lot in the area of Peyton Drive and Grand Avenue.
Deputies attempted a traffic stop, but the driver, who was later identified as Cristobal Marroquin, failed to yield and a pursuit ensued. A Pursuit Intervention Technique was used to disable the Chevrolet Silverado. Marroquin was taken into custody without further incident.
Marroquin was booked at West Valley Detention Center for PC 496D(a) Posseession of Stolen Vehicle and VC 2800.2 Felony Evading.
