Update: Green Bay Police to Refer Charges in East Side Shooting; Two Teen Suspects Arrested and One Adult Injured

The Green Bay Police Department will be referring charges to the Brown County District Attorney’s Office for two teens who were allegedly involved in a weekend shooting on the City’s east side that caused non-life-threatening injuries to an adult male.

Officers were dispatched on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at approximately 1:45 p.m. for the reported shooting, which investigators have learned from witness interviews, was believed to be the result of a disturbance at an apartment complex in the 2600 block of Humboldt Road.

Upon arrival, police discovered that a 20-year-old Green Bay man had been shot and was taken to the hospital for treatment and the suspects had fled the scene. Those suspects were discovered to be 16-year-old and 18-year-old Green Bay males, both taken into custody a short time later.

The investigation is ongoing as police continue to speak with witnesses. No further details will be released at this time.
