Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death investigation of a male adult.
An autopsy of the decedent was conducted on Friday, December 2, 2022, by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner Office. The Medical Examiner-Coroner Office did not find any obvious signs of trauma and preliminary findings indicated there were narcotics in the decedent’s body.
At this time, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are treating this incident as a possible narcotics overdose.
This investigation is ongoing and there is no further information available to release at this time.

FIRST UPDATE FOLLOWS
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death investigation of a male adult.
Lost Hills Station deputies received a call for service in the 33000 block of Mulholland Highway, Malibu regarding a person down call at approximately 7:30 a.m.
When deputies arrived, LA County Fire Paramedics were on scene treating the victim.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators determined the descendant was a male adult. There are no obvious signs of trauma.
The cause of death will be determined by the LA County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner at a later time.
There is no suspect or suspect vehicle information.
The investigation is ongoing and currently, there is no additional information.
