South Brunswick Citizen Police Academy Graduates

South Brunswick Citizen Police Academy Graduates

Chief Raymond Hayducka recently oversaw the graduation of the 2022 South Brunswick Citizen Police Academy. The 11-week program offered training on a range of law enforcement topics including motor vehicle laws, criminal law, and use of force.  The community members learned about crime scene processing, defensive tactics, and internal affairs.  The academy culminated with a day of practical exercises where students handled simulated motor vehicle stops, disputes, and other realistic scenarios. Classes were held one night per week at the South Brunswick Police Training Center.

Chief Raymond Hayducka said, “These community members have completed the required 11 weeks of classroom and practical exercises to graduate from the Citizen Police Academy. This experience provides individuals from our community a unique perspective on policing.” Lieutenant Tara Jairdullo the coordinator of the Academy said, “Each academy class draws the officers who participate in it and the community members closer together. The more we can open up and show what we do, the stronger our ties are to the community.”

Here are the 2022 Academy graduates - Chuck Brodheim, Arif Khan, Hitesh Patel, Suman Priya, Leonard J. Raab Jr., Tapas Ray, Brenda Rebello, Lemonte Sanders, Sharath Shankar, Salman Syed, Jaghan Yamuna, Kedar Zavar,
