Friday, December 9th, is the 60th Annual Pompano Beach Holiday Boat Parade. The parade begins at 7pm, just south of Atlantic Blvd, and will run north along the Intracoastal Water, through the 14 St Causeway Bridge, and then through the Hillsboro Blvd Bridge, where the parade will then turn around and head south, back towards Pompano Beach.

Extended bridge openings are expected at each bridge as the parade moves allowing the boats to pass through safely, which will cause traffic delays.

Estimated extended bridge openings at Atlantic Blvd and 14 St Causeway could last approximately 30 minutes. The Hillsboro Blvd Bridge extended bridge opening could last approximately 2 hours.

The Hillsboro Inlet Bridge will operate under normal schedule and will not be involved in extended bridge openings.
