Winter Weather Advisory until 03:00PM Saturday

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph.

* WHERE...Kuskokwim Delta.

* WHEN...From midnight Friday night to 3 PM AKST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on difficult travel. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility to a half mile. Gusty winds may create higher surf and minor coastal flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A frontal system will produce gusty winds with areas of blowing snow and visibilities down to a half mile. The strongest winds will be along the coast with gusts near 60 mph. Expect gusts up to 45 mph inland, including areas around Bethel. Temperatures will warm into the low to mid 30s and winds will diminish after 3 PM Saturday with the blowing snow threat ending. Strong winds blowing onshore may cause high surf and minor coastal flooding.
