Vehicle Collision Involving an On-Duty Rohnert Park
Department of Public Safety Officer
On December 8, 2022, at approximately 7:30 p.m., an on-duty Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety Officer was traveling northbound on Country Club Drive at Eleanor Avenue in a marked police vehicle. A Lexus SUV was traveling southbound on Country Club Drive at Eleanor Avenue. As the vehicles entered the intersection, they collided with one another, resulting in moderate damage to both vehicles. The driver of the Lexus was not injured. The Officer was injured, transported to an area hospital, treated and released later that evening.
