Below is an update from Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla on COVID-19.
Two COVID-19 clinics offered this week
Tuesday’s clinic
The City and Medicine Man Pharmacy & Compounding will host a clinic on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at 605 Jackson St. offering updated COVID-19 boosters and flu vaccines from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Eligible residents may elect to receive one or both the updated booster and the seasonal flu vaccine.
To make a required appointment for either the flu vaccine, updated COVID-19 booster, or both, go to www.hobokennj.gov/vaccine.
Residents will need to book two separate appointments if they want both the flu vaccine and the updated booster, but Medicine Man Pharmacy & Compounding will administer both shots at the same time during either appointment time.
Thursday’s clinic
The City and the Hudson Regional Health Commission will have a clinic at 605 Jackson St. from 3 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. at 605 Jackson St on Thursday, Dec. 15. The clinic will offer Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, J&J/Janssen, and Novavax COVID-19 vaccines, updated Pfizer and Moderna boosters, and the seasonal flu vaccine.
Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins will be accepted. To book an appointment, go to www.hudsoncovidvax.org/.

There have been a total of 14,478 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and Hoboken has lost 70 residents since the pandemic began.
Update from the Hoboken Health Department
- Cases are being investigated on a priority basis 18 years of age and under, at high risk, and over 65 years old
- Cases are associated with community widespread in camps, daycare, social gatherings, travel, and work
- Our regional Community Transmission level is currently Medium Risk
