1. Explosion (1753) 6400 Block of Inglewood Avenue, Lakeview District
Officers responded to the report of an explosion and located a 63-year-old male and a 54-year-old female injured. Both victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
2. Person Shot (2100) East Lindsay Street and South Sierra Nevada Street, Park District
The male victim, 23, was walking in the area when he was shot. The victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. There is no suspect information.
3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2120) 5700 Block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District
The male victim, 34, confronted the suspect about a possible theft. The suspect threw an edged weapon at the victim and fled. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECT: Black male.
4. Person Shot (2125) North Grant Street and West Fremont Street, Civic District
The male victim, 20, was walking in the area when he was shot. The victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. There is no suspect information.
5. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (2300) 400 Block of Dave Brubeck Street, Civic District
The male victim, 32, was in an argument with the suspect. During the argument, the suspect hit the victim multiple times with an object. The victim refused medical attention. ARRESTED: Ahmed Hassan, 22, for assault with a deadly weapon.
6. Weapon Arrest (0002) East Washington Street and Cardinal Avenue, San Joaquin County
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver failed to yield and led the officers on a short pursuit. The pursuit ended when the suspect’s vehicle involved in a collision. Officers located a loaded firearm in the car. ARRESTED: Chauncey Talton, 23, and Devante Zachery, 21, for traffic and weapon charges.
7. Weapon Arrest (0019) Horner Avenue and Netherton Avenue, San Joaquin County
Officers conducted an enforcement stop on a vehicle and located two firearms inside. ARRESTED: Anthony Mendez, 18, and Daniel Villagran, 19, for weapons charges.
