Flood Advisory until 06:45PM Saturday

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Callahan, Coleman, Runnels and Taylor.

* WHEN...Until 645 PM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 450 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Coleman, Winters, Cross Plains, Lawn, Novice, Putnam, Lake Coleman, Goldsboro, Hords Creek Reservoir and Echo. - This includes the following highways... Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 311 and 318. This includes the following Low Water Crossings... I-20 Frontage Roads near Putnam, County Road 482 crossing South Fork Jim Ned Creek, crossings along County Road 205, County Road 485 crossing Indian Creek, crossings along County Road 249, County Road 244 crossing South Prong Pecan Bayou, County Road 172 crossing Little Pecan Bayou, crossings along County Road 201, crossings along County Road 195 and County Road 482 crossing Jim Ned Creek. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
