This year, the Novato Police Department teamed up once again with North Marin Community Services (NMCS), Novato Fire Protection District (NFD), Novato Unified School District (NUSD) and Target to bring holiday joy and cheer to 61 local children and their families from under-resourced communities. This was the first year back for an in-person shopping experience. We had an amazing time connecting with the wonderful children in our community and ‘shopped till we dropped’ to make sure everyone had gifts for the holiday season. 

Santa was able to stop by on his way to the North Pole, adding an element of holiday magic for the kids!

Each group shopped with a local First Responder and the kids we able to buy gifts for the entire family. The children and their families were pre-selected by the wonderful local non-profit organization, North Marin Community Services (NMCS). www.northmarincs.org

The Novato Police Department would like to extend an immense thank you to Target, NMCS, NFD, and NUSD for its continued support and partnership over the years, especially during the holiday season. This is another example of local partnerships working together for a joyous outcome for our community.
