Suspect Arrested After Numerous Homes Were Burglarized in Chino Hills

LOCATION: LeParc and Avalon Apartments, Chino Hills
SUSPECT(S): Jason Mayhall, 47-year-old Resident of Riverside, Unidentified Male Suspect
VICTIM(S): Chino Hills Residents
SUMMARY: Between Monday, December 5, and Friday, December 9, 2022, several residential burglaries occurred at two separate apartment complexes in Chino Hills. Deputies and detectives from the Chino Hills Police/Sheriff's Station obtained crucial evidence and conducted an investigation. Detectives positively identified a 47-year-old resident of Riverside named Jason Mayhall as one of the suspects.
Surveillance was conducted and a search warrant was served at Mayhall's residence. Detectives and deputies recovered nearly $20,000 worth of stolen property and arrested Mayhall. He was later transported to the West Valley Detention Center where he was booked for residential burglary and possession of stolen property.
There is one male suspect who remains unidentified and the investigation is on-going.
