Wilmington Police arrest Chester woman on drug charges: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a Chester woman on drug charges.
On December 7 at approximately 2:16 p.m., members of the Street Crimes Unit conducted a vehicle stop in the 2100 block of Lancaster Avenue. Police made contact with the driver, 25-year-old Shamyah Cottman, of Chester, PA. Following a brief investigation, police recovered 5.3 grams of cocaine. Cottman was taken into custody without incident.
Cottman was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 1 Quantity in addition to traffic violations.
She was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $4,000 unsecured bail.
