Arrest made in storage unit thefts
Billy Joe Causby and Jared Reed Smith have been identified and charged with 3 counts breaking and or entering, 3 counts larceny after break/Enter, 3 counts Possession of Burglary Tools.
Both Causby and Smith are currently incarcerated at the Rutherford County Detention Center.
Investigators with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying suspects captured on surveillance video at 371 Chase High Road Forest City. The subjects in the surveillance video broke into storage units at this location.
Images of the suspects to be identified are included in this message.
