1. Assault with a Deadly (1026) 00 Block of Gateway Court, Valley Oak District The victim, 53, was involved in an altercation with the suspect. During the argument, the suspect hit the victim with a metal object. The victim went to a local hospital to seek treatment for his non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECT: Black male in his fifties.
2. Vehicle Pursuit (1434) East Fremont Street and A Street, Park District Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver failed to stop and led the officers on a short pursuit. Officers lost sight of the suspect’s vehicle but later found it unoccupied. There is no suspect description.
3. Weapons Arrest (1411) 3100 Block of Valley Forge Drive, Bear Creek District Officers went to the location to arrest a wanted subject. The suspect refused to comply with the officers’ commands and resisted arrest. One officer deployed his taser to take the suspect into custody. Officers also recovered a firearm from the suspect. ARRESTED: Jason Stein, 41, for weapons, resisting arrest, and an outstanding warrant.
