UPDATE: Suspect Arrested, Meridian Police Ask for Public’s Help with Identifying a Suspect
MERIDIAN- At approximately 11:15am on December 15, it was reported the suspect had returned to the original location at E. Franklin and N. Main Street. Officers quickly arrived on scene, however the suspect had already left. After a brief area search, officers were able to locate and quickly arrest him.
 
The suspect has been identified as forty-three (43) year old James BURNS of Emmett. He has been arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail on a felony charge of Sexual Battery of a Minor Child Sixteen or Seventeen Years of Age.

Meridian Police Ask for Public’s Help with Identifying a Suspect
MERIDIAN- We are requesting the public’s assistance with identifying the male and vehicle in connection to an incident that occurred near the location of E. Franklin and N. Main Street in Meridian, Idaho. 
 
On December 14th around 4:50pm, the suspect battered a juvenile who was working at the time. The white male suspect is described to be in his late twenties to early thirties, around 6’3” in height and 150 lbs., with dirty blond hair, a patchy beard, with blue-grey eyes.  He was seen leaving the area in a 2000-2006 Red Chevrolet Suburban.
