1. Attempt Robbery (0750) 3100 Block of East Market Street, Park District
The male victim, 20, was working in an area business when the suspect entered. The suspect brandished a weapon and demanded property. When an officer arrived, the suspect was forced to the ground and was taken into custody. ARRESTED: Luis Beltran, 55, for attempted robbery.
 
2. Resisting Arrest (1230) 500 Block of East Miner Street, Civic District
Officers responded to a report the suspect broke out the victim’s car window and was inside. Upon arrival, officers took the suspect into custody. The suspect refused to get into the officers’ patrol car and was pulled inside and secured. ARRESTED: Geraldine Galiza, 26, for vandalism and resisting arrest.
