INCIDENT: PC 245(a)(2) - Assault with a Deadly Weapon
LOCATION: 73000 Block of Two Mile Road, Twentynine Palms
SUSPECT(S): Suspect 1- Male Unknown
Suspect 2- Male Unknown
VICTIM(S): 20-year-old Female Resident of Twentynine Palms
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at about 4:34 p.m., the victim called 9-1-1 and reported two male suspects entered her home and an assault occurred. Deputies responded and made contact with the victim who complained of pain in the back of her head.
During the investigation, deputies learned two males entered the residence wearing gloves and ski masks, cut the victim's hair with an unknown object, and began assaulting the victim. Both suspects fled the location before deputies arrived.
The victim was transported to High Desert Medical Center for her injuries.
