City crews are currently working on the free brush pick-up of leaves, trimmings, and Christmas trees being offered from October 15 through Jan 7.  Due to the unusual volume of leaves that fell in a short period of time this year we are slightly behind schedule. Additional crews have been allocated and we anticipate a much faster rate of removal over the next two weeks.  

Please remember: 

• Place loose yard trimmings and leaves in the street just outside the gutter- the gutter needs to remain clear for water runoff. No other waste of any kind shall be deposited among the prunings or leaves.
• No palm tree or yucca plant cuttings/leaves/branches These trimmings may be placed in your black can when cut into 2 foot lengths or shorter. DO NOT place in your green can.
• Branches should not be more than four feet long and six inches in diameter.
• No tree stumps.
• Do not bag or tie the trimmings.
• Remove stands from Christmas trees.
• No artificial trees.
• Leaves and trimmings can still be placed in the green can.
